Booking:
Most trips are run on a custom basis. I am available for booking in the European Alps from mid-January to late September most years. Send me an enquiry about availibility.
In the autumn, I run trips to Asia, South America, the western U.S., or Antarctica. For expeditions to Alaska, such as Denali, I must have a confirmation and 50% deposit 6 months in advance and the expeditions must be run through an approved Denali National Park Service Concessionaire. For Denali, I will run expeditions through the American Alpine Institute.
To express interest in a course or expedition, contact me here with your full name, the type of trip you are interested in, and your relative skill level.
Confirmation:
A 25% deposit is due at time of booking to hold your spot. Full payment is due six weeks prior to the start date.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel more than 6 weeks out, the 25% deposit is forfeited. If you cancel after full payment is due, 100% of the trip cost is forfeited unless some exception applies, such as finding another guest to take your place on a group trip.
Rates:
European Programs. Unless otherwise noted on specific trip information, rates are:
1:1 US$590/day
2:1 US$350/day per person
3 or more:1 US$275/day per person
Rates include the guides uplift, local transportation, and hut expenses. If the trip is based from a valley far from Chamonix, you may incur the cost of my transportation as well (for example, it takes about €300 to drive from Chamonix to the Dolomites, and back).
U.S. / Canada programs:
1:1 $400/day
2:1 $275/day per person
3:1 $180/day per person
